What is scheduled
The Bureau of Economic Analysis has scheduled its next state gross domestic product and personal income release for September 30, 2026. The same release window also includes annual state personal consumption expenditure data. BEA lists the next Regional Price Parities release for December 10, 2026.
These are different datasets. State personal income describes income flows. Regional Price Parities compare price levels across states and metropolitan areas. They should not be substituted for one another.
What it means for your paycheck
A paycheck with the same nominal dollar amount can support different living standards in different places. Regional price data helps translate nominal salary into a purchasing-power comparison. It does not model a household budget and it does not alter federal or state withholding.
That distinction matters when comparing job offers: taxes affect take-home pay, while regional prices affect what the remaining dollars may buy.
How PaycheckForge will refresh the data
The Real Pay Atlas will keep its current labeled data vintage until a new official BEA release is downloaded, checksummed, validated and reviewed. A calendar notice alone will not trigger a production data change.
When the new release passes those checks, we will update the displayed vintage and methodology together. Until then, use the Real Pay Atlas as a clearly dated comparison surface and the State Income Tax Comparison for the tax side of a move.
